My Journey

I'm Ashish — a print and graphic designer based in India, with 13 years of experience in the fashion and textile industry.

My work lives mostly in surface pattern design — florals, AOPs, placement prints, textile graphics, embroidery concepts — across menswear, womenswear, kidswear, and home. Over the years I've worked with some well-known international brands including Zara, GAP, Next, Kohl's, Chico's, Lucky Brand, and a few others across US, UK, and UAE markets.

What I enjoy most is the early part of the process — finding a mood, building a story around it, and then translating that into prints and graphics that actually work on product. I started with hand-painted illustrations and that foundation still shows up in everything I do, even when I'm working digitally.

These days I'm also working with AI tools like Midjourney and Adobe Firefly, which has opened up a lot of interesting new directions in how I develop ideas.
